Members ages 12 and under are considered Savings Stackers. Savings Stackers learn the value of savings their coins while earning prizes. Every child will receive a Savings Stacker Bank and Savings Stacker Tracker when he/she opens an account. It only takes $10 to open a Savings Stacker Account, so start stacking your savings today!
Members may open certificates for six months to five years with a minimum balance of $1,000. Members may also open Mini-Jumbo Certificates with a minimum balance of $50,000 for six months to two years. A penalty may be required for early withdrawal of some deposits.
Individual Retirement Accounts
WFTFCU offers both Roth and Traditional IRA’s. Traditional IRAs offer tax-deferred earnings. When you withdraw from a traditional IRA, your withdrawal will be treated as taxable income. Roth IRA contributions are not tax-deductible, however, you can withdraw contributions and earnings tax free. There is no minimum balance.
