We are awarding TEN high school seniors with $1,500 scholarships!

1. Applicants must be a high school senior at a public or private school.
2. Student applicants must be a member of WFTFCU in good standing.
3. Applicants must fill out a completed WFTFCU 2026 scholarship application packet tobe considered for a scholarship. ALL items on the form must be completed andrequested items received by the April 6th deadline.
4. Applicants must submit an official sealed transcript from an accredited public orprivate high school.
5. Two (2) letters of recommendation are required. One recommendation must be from a teacher, coach, administrator or counselor at your high school. The second recommendation must be from a personal source. This may include an employer,clergy or any other source other than those listed for the first recommendation.
6. Applicant must submit a handwritten essay in black ink addressing “What education means to me and what it will mean in the future.”

The selected award winners will be presented with a certificate for a $1,500.00 scholarship on Thursday, April 30th , 2026, at 4 pm, at a reception in our Multi-Purpose Room at 4301 Barnett Road. The check will be mailed to the school of their choice.
